We apologize for neglecting the blog lately… but we have been busy so stay tuned for some new posts. Some of ya’ll might remember a while back we had a drawing on PCBdaily.com for some free business cards. The lucky winner was Scott Pittman who is an aspiring photographer. He does some amazing work and hopefully these cards will catapult him to success!

These business cards are a perfect example of how a simple design is really kicked up a notch when letterpress is brought into the mix. Mavis contacted us asking for us to recreate a calling card that was on Crane’s website. We loved the simple design, as well as the unique paper choice of Crane’s Moonstone Grey. The only downside (in our eyes) was the weight of the paper. We prefer a heftier paper stock, so we duplexed the 100# paper to create a heavy 200# business card. A heavier paper stock allows for heavier impression, which allows for the beauty of letterpress to shine.
