Custom Cut Wedding Invites

Friday, October 9th, 2009

This wedding invitation set was designed by the bride-to-be herself, Silvan Harnik. She kept the design simple and affordable with a 1 color print, but added a nice flare with the custom oval die-cut that really makes the set stand out.

The wedding invitations are 2 sided. We printed the front and back separately on 110lb white 100% cotton paper, duplexed, and then die-cut. The response cards are 1 sided on 110lb white 100% cotton. The envelopes are matching cotton stock with the return address printed on the flap for the invitations, and the mailing address printed on the front for the response card envelopes.

Letterpress wedding invitations are a classical and unique approach. The tactile response and heavier weight from letterpress invites adds a special buzz to your special day. Keeping the design 1 color is a great way to keep the costs under budget.

Wedding Bells means Letterpress Well

Letterpress often finds it’s way into weddings. From letterpress wedding invitation sets including response cards and direction cards and on to menus, places cards, or favor tags at the actual wedding. Not to mention letterpress thank you cards that match the wedding invitations!
The letterpress wedding invitations seen here are two color, blue and gold, on 220lb Lettra. The response cards are a 2 sided postcard style made up of 2 one color prints on 110lb Lettra. We duplexed the response cards before cutting them down. We printed gold on the envelopes, and the neat business card approach for a wedding website is printed on 110lb Lettra.
We feel very honored to have been a part of this wedding, and hopefully we can be a part of your wedding too!
